The Swing is a spot dance with a carefree relaxed style and is a dance easily mastered by most people. The various speeds are excellent training for quick footwork and good leading & following which will add comfort and ease in other rhythm dances.

Hip Hop Dance — Fitness Rx Dance and Performing Arts Staff

Discover the funky street style of Hip Hop while getting a great workout! Practice exciting, high intensity Hip Hop moves and create combinations you can use on the dance floor. A co-ed class designed for beginners. Promote your style, proper movement, musicality and fun. Wear comfortable, athletic clothing/shoes and bring a towel or mat for warm up and conditioning. HIP HOP DANCE WORKOUT FOR KIDS AGES 5-10

Get your kid's away from the TV and computer and have them do pumpin' moves to jammin' music. They can learn the same dance moves seen in favorite music videos. This class is a blend of cardiovascular exercise with high energy hip hop dance moves that are fun and easy to learn!

 

HIP HOP DANCE WORKOUT (ages 13 to adult) Now you can learn the same dance moves you have seen in your favorite music videos. Pumpin' moves to jammin' music! This class is a blend of cardiovascular exercise with high energy hip hop dance moves that are fun and easy to learn! Instructor teaches dance and aerobic moves!

 

BELLY DANCING FOR WEIGHT LOSS Belly dance is one of the most ancient and evolved forms of dance in the world. It's a powerful way to lose weight because you burn calories and fat while massaging and stimulating your digestive system, which increases your metabolism. Teacher may include core conditioning exercises at the end of class. This class is perfect for all levels of fitness and dance experience.

DANCE/PILATES FUSION Fusing the best from Pilates, dance, yoga, to stretch, firm and sculpt the body. Please bring a mat to class for floor work.

 

HIP HOP DANCE FIT A fun hip hop dance-oriented workout featuring great music and lower and upper body contouring (light weights recommended so please bring to class). Floor work for legs, buttocks and abs may be included. Mats are recommended, & available from teacher $25.

 

CARDIO/DANCE FUSION A mix of all your favorite cardio formats. Please bring a mat for cool down floor exercises. Mat available from teacher: $25

 

Hot and Spicy Salsa

If you're ready to learn the basics of Salsa this class is for you. Hot & Spicy Salsa offers instruction that burns up the floor for an hour. No experience is necessary. With a strong focus on Lead & Follow Dancing, you'll be amazed at how quickly you can learn the Salsa

 

BEGINNING BALLET A beginning ballet class for teens and adults with little or no previous ballet experience and for those who wish to study ballet in a friendly, non-competitive atmosphere. Great for the development of flexibility, strength, coordination, musicality and grace, with due respect given to individual body types.
